Joanna Lynch was born in England, raised in Michigan, and eventually found her way to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she met her husband, Phillip Lynch, of 39 years. They have resided in Mandeville, Louisiana since 1989, where they raised their two sons, Taylor and Daniel. With a Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Elementary Education, she pursued her passion for working with children by teaching 4th and 5th graders until she retired in 2021. Throughout the years, she has developed a strong love for the Lord and stays active in her faith by attending and leading Bible studies as well as serving on mission trips in Eastern Europe. Since retiring, she maintains an active life by assisting her husband’s law firm as well as running their “farm-style” home that includes raising dozens of chickens and growing their own fruits and vegetables. She has a strong sense of family that is evidenced by traveling to Florida to see her two sons, daughter in law and grandchild, as well as planning regular extended family vacations.
